Our Story
Our Approach
Rockett Studio was founded by Geila Daughtrey in Singapore in 2014, building on more than 25 years of international experience designing commercial and hospitality interiors across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
In 2022, Rockett established its UK studio, creating a strategic European base alongside Singapore and extending the practice’s reach across both Europe and APAC.
Each project is informed by rigorous research into the location, architecture, history and culture, from the wider landscape to the subtle nuances that give a place its particular character.
Alongside this sits a deep understanding of how hospitality spaces need to work. From the earliest stages, we consider how space is used, how people move through it, and how it operates behind the scenes, creating interiors that are as considered in function as in design.
Our Directors
Geila Daughtrey, Founder & Creative Director
Award-winning interior architect with over 25 years of experience designing hospitality spaces across Europe and Asia. Geila founded Rockett Studio in Singapore in 2014 and continues to lead the studio’s creative direction. Her approach combines creativity with strategic and practical thinking, from early feasibility studies, spatial planning and operational flow through to materiality and detailing. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how spaces function, as well as how they look and feel, creating layered, atmospheric interiors shaped by their architecture, culture and sense of place.
Karry Larkin, Design Director
Interior designer with over 15 years of international experience across hospitality, F&B and retail. Karry leads design development and project delivery at Rockett Studio, translating the studio’s creative vision and design strategy from concept through to completion. Her approach combines thoughtful design with a strong understanding of operations, guest experience and sustainability, ensuring projects are both creatively considered and commercially grounded.
